  • Type: MIL-DTL-5015 / VG95234 Circular Connector Straight Cable Clamp Backshell with Resilient Telescoping Bushing

  • Function: Secures, supports, and relieves mechanical strain on large multiconductor cables and heavy wiring bundles at the connector entry point, preventing axial pulling and twisting loads on internal soldered or crimped contact terminations
  • Design: Rugged two-piece die-cast aluminium saddle clamp assembly fastened with dual steel fillister-head clamp screws, incorporating an internally threaded knurled coupling ring and a resilient neoprene telescoping step-down sleeve/bushing to cushion and seal the cable jacket

  • Ends: Front internally threaded free-spinning coupling ring for direct attachment to connector rear endbells or accessory threads; rear mechanical dual-screw saddle clamp exit for cable jacket retention
