Brucom is more than just a manufacturer; we design customised, innovative electromechanical solutions.
Effective manufacturing relies on excellent engineering. Brucom invests in a dedicated engineering team, committed to providing our partners with the highest quality and most efficient solution, whilst maintaining quick turnaround times and cost-effectiveness.
Our team can provide CAD-CAM drawings, prototyping, computerised testing and consultation on design options that increase quality and performance and lower production costs. We carefully manage our priorities to ensure we can deliver to schedule whilst working closely with you to meet your objectives.
We work to develop and help improve your designs to decrease production costs, increase performance reliability and add value to your business. Our prototyping professionals can work with your company on overall layout, wire routing, material specifications, moulded component selection and cost analysis projections.
Designs that combine cost-effectiveness and quality
High quality doesn’t have to mean extortionate costs. Our engineering designs meet both quality standards and performance specifications, without compromising on production costs. Our knowledge of component options, coupled with great supplier relationships and refined procurement processes, means that Brucom can consistently find ways to reduce material costs for wire, connectors, and other components.
We are ISO9001:2015 compliant, which means everything we design and manufacture reaches international standards for quality. All of our products are 100% test and inspected using the latest technologies to ensure zero faults.
Leveraging technology to innovate new solutions
We believe that engineering skill and experience, combined with state-of-the-art technology equals outstanding results. That’s why we invest in the latest systems, tools and machines to be able to design and craft electromechanical components and systems which go above and beyond your requirements. We have a range of advanced engineering equipment, including:
4 Axis CNC Machines
SLA 3D Printers
FDM 3D Printers
Surface Grinders

Our design and engineering process
We develop full-system solutions for subcontract clients and our own OEM distribution partners. With an average of 10 new products entering our portfolio every week, Brucom manages thousands of products for hundreds of partners. These range from discrete parts to complex sub-assemblies across a range of industries.
With in-house capabilities to design, prototype, manufacture, test and commission a vast array of different electromechanical and electronic sub-assemblies, we're the right choice for providing a full-system solution to your needs.
We can do everything from blueprinting to custom print labelling. We are a one-stop shop for everything you need.
Our engineering team are experts in rapid design and prototyping. We can work from anything, be that an idea, a sample, a 2D drawing, a STEP file, a connector datasheet or a simple concept sketch.
Once we’ve reviewed your components and requirements, our team can:
Create 3D CAD concepts
Manufacture prototypes rapidly
Produce samples for approval
Initial prototypes can often be turned around in as little as 2–5 working days, depending on complexity, allowing you to validate concept and fit before committing to full production.
We work closely with partners to understand their needs and applications and can design a full-system from scratch. Whether you have a problem statement, a quick sketch or an example of a pre-existing system, we can use that to design and manufacture the exact assembly or component that you need.
Our label printing, overmoulding and vacuum moulding capabilities allow us to provide a complete service from start to finish.
All our products are fully documented to provide drawings, schematics, Bill of Materials, Test specifications, Wiring Lists, 3D Models, Work Instructions and assembly jigs. This documentation has full revision history control and is supported by our process-controlled manufacturing system.
To support our production processes, especially with overmoulding, our team designs and manufactures bespoke jigs or tooling that fits perfectly to the component and requirements.
Bespoke tooling helps ensure we can manufacture and test our products to their required applications, no matter how bespoke or complex. Examples of tooling we produce commonly are:
Overmould tooling
Assembly jig manufacture
Test board manufacturing
Bespoke function test set manufacture
Brucom crafted production mould tools are engineered to maximise the effectiveness of the final product.
Our ability to reverse engineer a design can reduce the amount of time required to develop the perfect product configuration. If you have a working sample, we can analyse the design and provide a recommendation on design improvements.
